Sharon Coffin, age 67 of Ashland, NE, died Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at her home. She was born March 19, 1942 in Riverside, CA to Donald and Raida Kern. When she was very young, her family moved to Fremont, NE. They moved to Ashland in 1957 and Sharon attended Ashland Public Schools. On Nov. 7, 1959, she was married to Charles Coffin in Ashland. They made their home in Ashland. Sharon worked as a waitress at the Depot Café, Silver Spoon Café, Buck’s Place, The Stable Bar, Fran's Place and Cubby’s. She had recently been working as a housekeeper at Mahoney State Park. Sharon had been a member of the Coffee Clutch Club.

She is survived by her children, Roger C. Coffin, Ashland, NE, Robin L. and husband Les Sarver, Kissee Mills, MO, grandchildren, Brian Sarver, Fremont, NE, Jerry Sarver, Kissee Mills, MO, great grandchildren Dakota and Roman Sarver, Wahoo, NE, twin sister Shirley (LeRoy) Dimmitt, Ashland, sister Linda (Darrel) Kuhlman, Lincoln, NE, brothers Clifford (June) Kern, Ashland, Clayton Kern, Lincoln, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and friends. Sharon was preceded in death by husband Charles Coffin, her parents and daughter Shari Coffin. Memorial Service, Friday, Sept. 18, 2009, 7:00 P.M. at Marcy Chapel.
