Alice L. Hanson

Alice was born to Edwin and Ruth (Bargar) Wills.  She attended Ashland Grade School and graduated from Ashland High School in 1951. Alice loved flowers, gardening, being outside and going on summer vacations with her family. Alice was married August 17, 1952 to Bernie Hanson at First Christian Church in Ashland. They lived and farmed in the Ashland area her entire married life.

Alice was life long member of the First Christian Church. She and Bernie recently received their 55 year membership Plaques from the church.

Preceded in death by her parents, son Gary Hanson and grandson Jason Hanson.

Survived by husband of 56 years Bernie of Ashland, children and spouses, Dennis and wife Judy of Raymond, NE, JoLynne and husband Robert Newsham of Ashland and Mark and his wife Connie of Wayne, NE, 4 grandchildren, Sarah Newsham, Whitney Newsham, Jennifer Hanson and Nate Hanson, brother and sister in law, Carl and his wife Darlene Wills of Lincoln, NE.
