Rick was born to Charles and Janice Proffit Reisen.
He grew up in Ashland attending elementary school and graduating from
Ashland High School in 1988. He was a graduate of Peru State College
and received a bachelors degree in business. Rick was united in
marriage to Christy Olson on Apr. 28, 1995 at St. Leo Catholic Church
in Omaha. They made their home in Omaha until moving to the Ashland
area in 2001. Rick worked briefly at the Omaha World Herald and has
worked for Roisum Elite Marketing for the last 13 years. He had been a
boy scout leader and coached T-ball, Coach pitch baseball and Junior
Jays Youth Ball.
Rick is survived by his wife Christy, son Benjamin, daughter Kaitlyn
and Anna, parents Chuck and Janice Reisen, brother and sister in law
Rodney and Cheryl Reisen, all of Ashland, sister and brother in law
Renee and Brett Linder, Baldwin City, KS, mother in law Carol Olson, Ericson, NE, 8 nieces and nephews, and aunts and uncles. Preceded in
death by father in law Milton Olson.
