Alice M. "Midgie" Wright was born to Harry and Margaret Krowley Leesley. She grew up in Greenwood attending grade school and later graduating from Greenwood High School. On July 17, 1942, Midgie was united in marriage to Wayne Wright at St. Mary Catholic Church in Davey, Nebraska. They made their home in Greenwood for many years until moving to Lincoln in the1980's. Midgie worked for 28 years as a parcel post clerk at Cushman Motors in Lincoln. She moved to Brookstone Senior Living in Omaha in 2004 and during the last year had lived at St. Joseph Villa in Omaha. Midgie was a former parishioner and organist at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Greenwood and also at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Lincoln.
 
She is survived by a son and daughter in law Tom and Joyce Wright and daughter Mary Moller, all of Omaha, 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her husband Wayne, daughter Sandra Gutschenritter, parents and all her sisters and brothers.
