Thomas R. “Tom “ Booher was born on October 1, 1947
in Lincoln, NE to William and Ardelle (Jackson) Booher. He grew up in
Ashland attending Ashland elementary school and graduating from
Ashland High School in 1965. Tom was united in marriage to Elizabeth
Radenslaben on May 27, 1972 at First Christian Church in Ashland. He
worked for White Advertising years ago but for most of his life he was
a heavy equipment operator for Abel Construction and also Clark
Construction. Tom enjoyed years of being a rodeo clown and in more
recent years had been a Sesostris Shriners Clown. He passed away
January 5, 2010 at the Golden Living Center in Omaha at the age of 62
years. Tom had been a member of the First Christian Church, the Cotner
Masonic Lodge #297 and the Sesostris Shriners.
Tom is survived by his wife Liz, son Shawn Booher of Omaha, brother
Steve Booher of Ashland, aunt Pat Lackey of Botswana, Africa and
several sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, cousins and
friends.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Services are
Saturday, January 9, 2010,1:00 P.M. at First Christian Church in
Ashland. Rev. Mike Njus, clergy. Interment Ashland Cemetery. Casket
Bearers are: Todd Tinnean, Cory Radenslaben, Brian Kasuske, Jarid
Massa, Travis Rex and Austin Booher. Honorary Bearers are the
Sesostris Shrine Clowns. Visitation Friday, 4 – 8:00 P.M. with a
Masonic service 7:00 P.M. at Marcy Chapel.
