Jack Leon Buckingham was born to Darle Eugene and Ferne (Robinson)
Buckingham on May 22, 1940 in Greenwood, NE. He passed away on March
22, 2010 at the Lakeside Medical Center in Omaha at the age of 69
years. Jack attended elementary and high school in Greenwood,
graduating in 1958. He served our country in the United States Air
Force from August 21, 1959 to August 2, 1962. Some of the state Jack
lived in included North Carolina, Kansas, Minnesota, Washington and
the last 20 years in Greenwood and Ashland, NE. He worked a wide
variety of jobs, the last 15 years with Advance Pest Control as a pest
control specialist. He was a member of the Ashland American Legion
Post #129 and served on the Honor Guard. He was preceded in death by
his parents and brothers Richard and Benjamin. He is survived by his
children and spouses Jack Jr. and Dawn, North Bend, NE; Brian and
Gayle, Greenwood, NE; Brett and Rachelle, Fremont, NE; Kenny and
Nancy, Ashland; Michelle Loxterman, Ashland; and Amy Armstrong, Omaha;
17 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; sister and brother in law
Shirley and Stan Berger, Bella Vista, AR; brother and sister in law
Robert and Barbara Buckingham, Henderson, MN; sister in law Mildred
Buckingham, Gretna; other relatives and friends. |
