Robyn Elizabeth Donley was born on September 1, 1986 in Bassett, Nebraska.  She survived and thrived for 24 joyful years when most medical opinions expressed the unlikelihood she would live past the age of two.  Robyn did more than just survive.  She graduated from Ashland-Greenwood High School in 2005.  Robyn loved and adored every single member of her family, as they loved and adored her.  Robyn was the light in every room.   She was a “ring girl” in one of her sister’s weddings, and was gleefully a bridesmaid in her other sister’s wedding, her brother’s wedding, and her niece’s wedding.

Robyn’s brother, Delbert Donley, her Grandparents, and numerous Aunts, Uncles, and cousins met Robyn in heaven when she arrived on November, 18, 2010. 

Nobody who ever met Robyn left the meeting unchanged.  She made us all better people.  Robyn’s last gift was one of organ donation which allowed three different people to live a longer life.   What a blessing she was to us all.  ding.  Robyn loved the colour red, the Nebraska Cornhuskers, reading, volunteering, “COPs”, family, dancing, laughing, shopping, boys, school, sharing and teaching others and Billy Ray Cyrus. 

Those still celebrating Robyn’s life on earth include: her Father and Mother, Larry Dean and Jeanne Donley of Ashland, NE; her brother Larry Gene Donley of Clearwater, KS his children, Aryan, Cory, Allison, Jake; her sister Kayleen Logue of Ashland, NE and her children Danielle and Travis Laughlin, Brandon, Alexie, and Michael; her brother Brian Donley, his wife Carmen and their son Adam of Valley Center, KS; her brother Michael Donley, his wife Alisha and a niece or nephew on the way, of Dallas, TX; and her sister Heather Straight, her husband T.J., their daughter Erika and a niece or nephew on the way, of Ashland, NE.   Other members of Robyn’s family include her Aunt Renee and Uncle Evan Reese and her Uncle Robin and Aunt Elizabeth Smith and many cousins.  Her nurses and special members of the family include, Margaret Lawson, Brandi Brooner, Mardelle Bergsten, Belinda Brejnik and Geri Thomas.
