Howard L. Miller was born in
Lincoln, NE on October 29, 1962 to Darold and Eleanor Miller. Howard attended Waverly Public School and graduated from high school
in 1981. He had been active in choir, FFA and VICA and placed in
national welding competitions. As a very young man he worked for Merle
Vinson doing various farm chores. Howard also worked at True Value in
Waverly during his high school days.
After graduation, he
attended the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. Following that, Howard
worked for many years for Cedar Ridge Farm of Ashland, NE. In recent
years he farmed on his own and did custom shop work.
Howard was a member
of the Cedar Hill Methodist Church and the Camp Creek Threshers
Association.
Howard is survived by his son Nathan Miller of
Murdock, NE, mother Eleanor Miller of Ceresco, NE, sisters and
brothers in law, Ellen and Scott Thompson of Arlington, NE, Janice and
Ron Janssen of Greenwood, NE, brother and sister in law David and
Linda Miller of Waverly, NE, nieces and nephews Kelsey, Kenzie and
Mitch Thompson, Jared and Seth Janssen.
He was
preceded in death by his father Darold Miller.
