Walter A. Yunker, age 56, of Ashland, NE, passed away June 29, 2010 at the Hospice House in Omaha, NE. Walter was born in Omaha on September 18, 1953 to Walter and Frances (Baker) Yunker. He served in the US Marines and was honorably discharged in September of 1973. He was united in marriage to Barbara Estey on October 19, 1985 at the First Christian Church in Ashland.

Walter is survived by his wife Barbara and daughter Elizabeth, both of Ashland; sisters and brothers in law, Gloria Menard Osborn and Doug of Elkhorn, NE, and Diane and Ron Eggeling of Omaha, NE; many nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents.
