Arlene B. Sudik

Arlene was born to Frank and Josephine (Simanek) Holub.  Arlene attended grade school at District #26 country school and later graduated from Wahoo High School in 1942. She took classes at Luther College in Wahoo and obtained a teaching certificate. She then taught at country schools in the Yutan and Ceresco areas. Arlene was united in marriage to John Sudik on Dec. 27, 1945 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Colon. They made their home on a farm south of Wahoo for many years. They later moved into Wahoo.  Arlene moved to the Legacy in Lincoln in August of 2006. She had been a parishioner at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Wahoo.

Preceded in death by husband John Sudik, son Terrance "Terry" Sudik, granddaughter Nichole "Niki" Sukik, one sister, Helen Vech and parents.

Survived by daughters and sons in law, Judy and Dr. Larry Swanson, Wahoo, Janice and Harold Cacak, Mary Beth and Steve Fulton, all of Lincoln, Nebraska, 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, sisters, Sylvia Machovec, Lincoln, Nebraska, and Olga and husband Ken Walline, Wahoo, Nebraska.
