Reta was born on a farm in Dawson County near
Sumner, NE to Emry and Ella (Bradt) Roberson. She lived on the farm in
Dawson County until the age of five when her family moved to Callaway,
NE. It was here that Peg grew up and received her education. In 1943
while working in Wahoo she along with two of her sisters moved to
David City, NE. Since then she has lived in Stromsburg, NE and West
Point, NE before moving to Wahoo in 1965.
"Peg" was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Wahoo and was
active in the Saunders County Arc, the advisory Committee for Region V
of Saunders County and Special Religious Ministries.
Preceded in death by her parents, son Terry, daughter in law, Pauline
Carlson, 4 brothers and 3 sisters
Survived by her children and spouses, Dale and Judy Carlson of
Bellevue, NE, Darrell and Iva Carlson, Dennis Carlson, Debbie and Dave
Bordovsky and Dawn and Mike Filbrandt, all of Wahoo, 12 grandchildren,
18 great grandchildren and brother and sister in law, Gary and Linda
Roberson of Indiana.
