Margare Rita (Sabatka) Chvatal was born near Swedeburg to Gariella (Meduna) Sabatka Notes: She grew up on a farm between Swedeburg and Weston, NE and
graduated from Wahoo High School in 1938. On June 9, 1942, Margaret was united in marriage to Bernard Chvatal at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Weston. They made their home on a farm north of Malmo where they lived their entire lives. When Bernard passed away in 1995, they had been married for 53 years.

Margaret was a member of St. Joseph Church, St. Ann's Altar Society, Catholic Daughters, Christian Mothers, St. Joseph Church Choir, Malmo American Legion Auxiliary #232, Malmo Matrons Extension Club, Mariposa Maids 4H leader, Saunders County Fair Volunteer and a Red Cross Blood Donor for many years.

Margaret is survived by her sons and daughters in law, Jerome and Sharon, Henderson, NE, Martin and Jenny, Malmo, Burneil and Nancy Sake, Mead, NE,
daughters and sons in law, Karen and John Kometer, Land O' Lakes, FL, Leni and John Kirchmann, Ashland, NE, 17 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, sisters Eleanor Swartz and Georgianne Bouc, both Wahoo, brother in law and sisters in law, Don and Norma Chvatal, Malmo, Clayre Sabatka and Celestine Sabatka, both of Wahoo.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bernard, parents, brothers Edward and Ernest Sabatka.
