Kathryn Colleen (Couch) Lee was born to Perry
and Frances (Bailey) Couch. Her family moved to Ashland, NE when
Colleen was nine years old. She graduated from Ashland High School in
1968. On Oct. 21, 1968, Colleen was married to Delbert Lee in Ashland.
They lived in Fremont, Wahoo and Ashland, NE until moving to Mead in
the early 1970's. She had been an employee at Oriental Trading Company
in Fremont for the last several years.
Kathryn loved being with her granddaughter and
going to garage sales and flea markets. She was a collector of
cookbooks and with hundreds of them. She enjoyed cooking new
recipes and adding her own personal touch. Kathyrn also enjoyed
matching her clothes color to coordinate with perfume.
Preceded in death by her parents, nephew Randy Hoover
Survived by her husband Delbert Lee, daughter and son in law Tammy and
Tom Leonard, granddaughter Katie Leonard, all of Mead, sister Darlene
Hoover, Burlington, IA and nephew Ron Hoover, IL.
