Anne (Hodgkins) Pearson was born to Edgar and Emma (Rutherford) Hodgkins. Anne attended elementary school in Kilbourne and worked in the cotton fields of Louisiana as a young girl. She later graduated from Kilbourne High School where she played 6-man basketball. She moved to Lincoln, NE after high school and lived with her sister Mae. Not long after, she got an apartment with her twin sister Fannie and attended the Lincoln School of Commerce. Anne worked various jobs to pay for college including Gold's in the baked goods department. On July 25, 1964, Anne was married to Wesley Pearson in Lincoln. They briefly lived in Lincoln and then moved to the Pearson family farm northeast of Ceresco. She worked for a short time for a plumbing company before beginning a 28 year career at Cushman Motors in the cost accounting department. She retired from there in 1993. Anne was a longtime member of the Evangelical Covenant Church in Ceresco where she served as a Sunday School teacher and Superintendent and served on the church council.

Preceded in death by: husband Wesley Pearson, brothers Edgar, Alec and Charles Hodgkins, sister Mae Pearce.

Survived by: sons, daughters in law David and Vickie Pearson, Wahoo, Paul and Joni Pearson, Ceresco, NE; grandchildren, Cindy, Nicole and Janae Pearson; step grandchildren, Josh and Jeff Price; twin sister Fannie (John) Marshalek, Raymond, NE; brothers Clarence (Buddy) Hodgkins, Harold (Dean) Hodgkins, Victor (Billie) Hodgkins, Gene (Lo) Hodgkins, all of Kilbourne, LA.
