Jacqueline was born  to James and Lillian (Trejbal) Perk.  She attended school in Prague and graduated from Prague High School in 1955. Following graduation she moved to Lincoln and worked for an insurance company. On August 30, 1956, Jackie married Emil Polacek at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Prague. They made their home on a farm northwest of Prague. Together they raised four children, Pat, Peggy, Paul and Mike. Jackie worked for many years at Reliable Services in Wahoo. In 2004, they retired from the farm and moved to Wahoo. Jackie was a parishioner at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church. She was a former parishioner at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Prague and belonged to the Rosary Society and PCCW there. She was also a charter member of the Prague Socialites Extension Club.

 

Preceded in death by her parents and sister Judy Perk.

 

Survived by husband Emil Polacek, daughters and son in law, Pat and Mike Drozda, Peggy Polacek, all of Lincoln, sons and daughters in law, Paul and Renee Polacek, Wahoo and Mike and Sandi Polacek of Omaha, 12 grandchildren, Chris Drozda, Natalie (Jason) Schwarz, Mitchell, Joel, Kelly, Paige, Faith and Jude Polacek, Brooke and Marissa Strokan, Emily and Drew Polacek, sister and brother in law Su and Tom Davis, Lincoln, and nieces and nephews.
