Michael E. Shada was born to Randy and Diane (Mimick) Shada. He attended Wahoo Elementary School and graduated from Wahoo High School in 2003. He enrolled at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln where he was a walk on for the Husker football team. After two years he transferred to the University of Nebraska at Omaha and played football there. In recent months Michael had taken and passed all the exams for the licenses needed to work at T.D. Ameritrade, where he had worked since February, 2009. Michael was engaged to be married to Emily Parsons on June 26, 2010. He was a parishioner at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Wahoo.

Preceded in death by his grandparents, Eli and Madeline Shada, Alex and Monica Mimick.

Michael is survived by his parents, Randy and Diane Shada, son Josyah, fiancé Emily Parsons, all of Wahoo, siblings and spouses, Marla and Keith Milliken, Wahoo, Alex and Megan Shada, Rachael Shada, all of Lincoln, NE, nephews, Nick (Amber) Milliken, Greg Milliken, Eli Shada, niece Shelby Milliken, great niece Aubree Millikan, many aunts, uncles and cousins.
