Bonnie L. Jensen

Bonnie L. Jensen, age 77,  was a resident of Wahoo, NE and formerly of Davenport, NE.  She passed away Wednesday. November 10, 2010 at the Saunders County Care Center in Wahoo.  Bonnie was born on May 12, 1933 in Aurora, NE to Louis and Helen (Buresh) Nelson.  She attended grade school in Davenport before graduating from Davenport High School in 1950.  Bonnie enjoyed gardening and loved spending time with her dog "Munchie". Bonnie was married on September 7, 1955 to Alvin Jensen in Grand Island, NE. She worked for many years at the hospital in Hebron, NE.  Bonnie was a member of Davenport Women's American Legion Auxiliary #335.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Alvin Jensen, brother, Loren Nelson. She is survived by her daughters and sons in law, Char and Dave Ratkovec of Valparaiso, NE, Janet and Mike Brinkman of Lincoln, NE, sons and daughter in law, Kelvin and Sandy Jensen of Hastings, NE and Brian Jensen of Phoenix, AZ, sister and brother in law, Delores and LaVerne Renz of Lincoln, NE, 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
