Leonard J. Masek, age 84, resident of  Touhy, NE passed away Thursday (4/1/10) in Lincoln, NE. Leonard was born  January 18, 1926 in Weston, NE to  William and Mary (Houska) Masek.  He  attended grade school in Weston and then graduated from Weston High School. Leonard was married to Maxine Jambor on June 20, 1950 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Prague. Leonard was a  life time resident of the Touhy area.  He was a long time buyer and seller of cattle. Leonard attended St. Vitus Catholic Church, Touhy.

Leonard was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine, son, Duane Masek, son in law, Tom Conneally, grandson, Jeremy Masek. He is survived by his daughters and son in law, Collette and Gary Evert of Lincoln, NE, Renee Conneally, Northville, MI, sons and daughter in law, Randy Masek and Roxanne Durbin of Lincoln, NE, Paul and Kim Masek of Malcolm, NE, grandchildren, Grant, Ethan and his wife Stephanie, Seth and Alison Evert, Annalee Masek, Jason and his wife Holli, and Brent Masek, Erin Conneally, sisters, Gladys Cajka of Wahoo, NE, Grace Carrier of Phoenix, AZ, Genevieve Muench of Cheney, WA, Georgianette Downen of Phoenix, AZ and 1 brother, Larry Masek of Touhy.

Visitation: Monday with family after 6 PM and a Rosary at 7 PM all at the church, also continuing on Tuesday one hour before the service at the church.
