Margaret M. Rezac, age 91 of David City, NE, formerly of Valparaiso, NE, died April 28, 2010 at David Place in David City. She was born in rural Weston, NE on July 6, 1918 to Josef and Antoinette (Fidler) Meduna. Margaret grew up on a farm near Weston and went to elementary school at District #74 country school. She had to quit school to help work on the farm during the depression era. On September 28, 1936, she was united in marriage to Adolph Rezac at St. Vitus Catholic Church in Touhy. They made their home on a farm in rural Valparaiso for nearly 50 years. In 1986, the couple retired to Valparaiso. That was her home until two years ago when she moved to Davids Place in David City. Margaret enjoyed gardening and made the best potato dumplings. When Adolph was alive, they enjoyed dancing to Czech music and travelling. They celebrated their 45th, 50th and 60th wedding anniversaries. Margaret was dedicated to her family and her children. She was a parishioner at St. Vitus Church and a member of St. Vitus Altar Society since 1936.

Margaret is survived by sons and daughters in law, Gene Rezac, Phil and Judy Rezac, Dave and Barb Rezac, all of Valparaiso; daughters and sons in law, Kathy and Ted Kastl, Lincoln, NE, and Karen and Lyle Dvorak, Brainard, NE; 12 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sister in law Gertrude Meduna, Wahoo, NE. She was preceded in death by husband Adolph, daughter Karol Mae Rezac, 3 brothers and 6 sisters.
