Frank Wayne Smith, age 70, was a resident of Wahoo, Nebraska.  He passed away at his home on Wednesday, March 3, 2010.  Frank was born on July 16, 1939 in Los Angeles, California to Francis and Velma (Giese) Smith. He graduated from Pomona High School in Los Angeles, CA. Frank loved deep sea and shore fishing in California, coached his kids in T-ball and he was a Boy Scout Troop leader.
Frank married Karen Croghan on March 21, 1959 at the North Town Church in Pomona, CA. He grew up in California and moved to Wahoo in 1979.  Frank worked as a Master Machinist for AT&T in Omaha from 1983 until his retirement in 2001. He was a member of New Hope Bible Church in Wahoo. and a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Aerie #2971 in Wahoo, NE.

Frank was receded in death by: parents, brother, Lyle Bryant Smith and is survived by his wife of 50 years, Karen, Wahoo, NE, children and spouses, Paul and Heather Smith, Springfield, NE, Jill Smith of Oregon, Susan and Dave Vech of Malmo, NE, Daniel Smith and special friend Rebecca McNally, Cory Smith and special friend Stephanie Trudell, all of Omaha, NE, 9 grandchildren, brother and sister in law, Steven and Donna Smith of Chino, CA.
